Square Floor Tile Designs
For a clean and modern look choose square tiles without a design strip for a simple background to your space. For an authentic stone look try adding a pale decorative strip in between tiles for a realistic grout effect.

You can lay tiles on a straight angle creating a linear look or try diagonally to add a spacious feel to a small room.

If you are looking for simple design ideas try using a combination of feature strips in a variety of widths and effects, known as a tramline or keyline border to make a feature around your furniture. Your local retailer can suggest some ideas to complement your furnishings.
Create a Chequerboard Effect
For a classic look select different stone effects in contrasting colourways to create checkerboard tiles adding a unique look to bland spaces.

You can also use design strips as borders around the edge of your room or around a key feature such as a fireplace or kitchen island unit. Thinner 3mm and 5mm strips can be used as keyline borders or in combination with wider 10mm, 30mm or 76mm widths to form a tramline design.

Opus Flooring Range
The Opus range was introduced in 2011 to provide larger format stone and wood effect floors in contemporary colours and designs. It is particularly suited to larger rooms where a more modern, clean look is desired.
Opus Wood Flooring
The wood plank range has a variety of light wood effect tones, mid wood tones and dark wood tones including contemporary grey and grey-brown shades. They have either a smooth or lightly textured finish, with most designs supplied in standard plank size. However there are four designs in an extra wide format suitable for larger living spaces.
Opus Stone Floor Tiles
Opus is the range to choose if you would like modern large floor tiles. The square tiles are supplied in our largest square tile size. There are also large rectangular tiles which can be laid in a brick style pattern to achieve a different look. Each design replicates natural stone or ceramic flooring, with the exception of two metallic effect designs that help give a modern chic city living look
